6 Days Volos - Pelion - Skiathos - Skopelos

Day 1 Welcome to Volos !
You will be met on arrival and transferred to Volos by our luxury mini-bus. Meet your Trip Leader, check in at the Hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers.
Day 2 Mount Pelion -Damouchari
This morning, enjoy spectacular views and dramatic mountain scenery as we drive to the top of Mount Pelion before descending on the east side of the peninsula to Damouchari, the picture-perfect harbor featured in two scenes: the arrival of Tanya and Rosie at the harbor village, and the climax of “Dancing Queen” where Donna jumps into the sea. Snap some selfies in this iconic spot, enjoy a cup of coffee at the nearby café or
why not jump into the water yourself! At the charming village of Vizitsa, meet the local women that prepare our lunch. Back in Volos, this evening, we take you out to a tsipouro restaurant, the place where the locals get together to socialize and enjoy life.
Day 3 Across the seas to Skiathos
Early in the morning, take the ferry to the island of Skiathos. The deep blue of the Aegean Sea will leave you in awe. Upon arrival, you will recognize the fortified islet offthe harbor that featured in the movie. This is the port where the three fathers met before heading to “Kalokairi.” After our welcome lunch, take an astounding 4-hour tour of the island on a motor boat to see up close the filming locations on Skiathos and the beach where Sophie contemplates marrying Sky. Sunset on the island will be simply spectacular. In the evening, relax and enjoy dining experiences.
Day 4 Skopelos, here we go!
Today, we take the ferry to the island of Skopelos. In a mini-van, we are taken to the famous chapel of Agios Ioannis, one of the 360 places of worship on the island! The spectacular views from the rock make the 200 steps to the chapel easier to ascend. While the soundtrack of the movie playing in the van and everybody singing along, we continue to the popular Kastani Beach, where Sophie and Sky sing “Lay All Your Love On
Me” and where Tanya asks “Does Your Mother Know?” Here, it is time for relaxation. After seeing the rest of the filming locations on the island, at the town of Skopelos we savor traditional Greek food and local wine before returning to Skiathos in the evening.
Day 5 A day of leisure
Enjoy a relaxed guided tour of the main town of Skiathos. The maze-like streets of the town and the colorfully painted doors of the local houses adorned with pink and purple bougainvillea will remind you of your favorite movie. We will visit a traditional island house of the famous Greek novelist Alexandros Papadiamantis, explore the fortified islet off the harbor known as Bourtzi, and savor fresh sea food at a seaside restaurant. After lunch, stay in the town for shopping, or return to the Hotel for leisure time. In the evening, we reunite for an unforgettable farewell dinner.
Day 6 I had a dream, a song to sing…
Relaxed and rejuvenated by the spectacular views, joyful music, and the Aegean blue, enjoy breakfast one last time on the island of Skiathos. By mid-morning, we take you to the Skiathos Airport for your flight to Athens.
